Where does the ship dock?
Bimini rewards a deliberately small plan. The cruise pier and resort occupy North Bimini’s northern end, Alice Town lies farther south, South Bimini needs a ferry, and famous wreck or wildlife sites require a weather-dependent boat.
Can I walk into town?
Use the signed tram or authorised transport area for North Bimini. Confirm golf-cart licensing, insurance and return arrangements. Treat every ferry or excursion boat as a timed connection rather than a casual extension of the pier.
Practical information
Traffic keeps left. Golf carts offer limited crash protection, and narrow roads mix residents, visitors and service vehicles. Sea state, wind, heat and sudden rain can alter both the port call and shore activity.
What fits the day?
Two hours suits the port and nearby shore. Half a day can cover Alice Town, Dolphin House and Radio Beach. South Bimini, Sapona, Bimini Road, reefs or mangroves should each be the main commitment.
Safety and return
Never promise sharks, dolphins, rays or calm water. Use reputable licensed operators, avoid baited or unsafe wildlife encounters, agree transport cost first and preserve a complete North Bimini return before all-aboard.
